Dr Jon Gani operates a general and abdominal surgical practice providing comprehensive care to public and private patients using  open, endoscopic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr Gani operates a specialist medical practice called Surgery Central, where he works with two other surgeons, Dr Costa Karihaloo and Dr Christine O’Neill. Dr Gani is a Conjoint Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Newcastle.

Our Services

A full range of abdominal surgical services are provided.

This includes Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery, Oncological Surgery, Abdominal Endocine Surgery (Adrenal and Pancreatic Endocrine) and Hernia Surgery. Services are provided in both Public and Private Hospital facilities.

Patients can be seen urgently and at short notice if their conditions are acute and serious.
